Purple Ribbon

Created in 2006, the Purple Ribbon helps victims of interpersonal violence apply for Medi-CAL and/or Cal-FRESH in a safe and secure environment.

Staff from Alameda County Social Services Agency is available to assist clients at the ACFJC the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month between 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Clients can use this opportunity to apply for new benefits or modify existing ones for safety reasons.

Clients can call the ACFJC at (510) 267-8800 to be connected to a Client Navigator who will help schedule a Purple Ribbon appointment. Childcare and on-site parking is available.
