In honor of Women's History Month in March, the Alameda County Family Justice Center is hosting the 'Women Celebrating Women' event.
The event takes place on Thursday, March 31st between 11am and 1pm.
There will be speakers, poets, and artists sharing their journeys in a welcoming environment with great food and music. Clients from ACFJC programs will also be displaying the vision boards they have created for their future lives.

On Friday, 30 October, 2015, the DA's Office and the Alameda County Family Justice Center will celebrate the end of Domestic Violence Awareness Month with the 13th Annual Day of Remembrance.
The event honors victims who have died at the hands of their intimate partners, celebrates those who have survived, and connects those who work with victims of domestic violence. During the ceremony, a survivor will tell their story, and the names of those murdered by their domestic partners will be read and remembered.
We hope you will join us for the event to demonstrate domestic violence will not be tolerated in our society. We unite to say: #NoMore.

All proceeds benefit ACFJC Children’s Programs
The 2014 tournament, last October at Tilden Golf Course in Berkeley, hosted 60 golfers who participated in many fun activities, a wine raffle and a buffet lunch. The highlight of the day was the presentation of a $25,000 scholarship to an ACFJC client.

Please join us for the Interfaith Initiative Pilot Program (IIPP) Open House on June 3, 2015 from 1pm to 2:30pm. The IIPP provides therapeutic counseling and spiritual support to victims of domestic violence and connects victims to our network of Temples, Mosques, Synagogues, and other spiritual meeting places to ensure continued spiritual support.
