Five Alameda County Family Justice Center Clients Will Be Graduating From Rising Sun Energy Program

Five ACFJC Step-Up alums will graduate on Friday, April 12th, 2019 from 10am to 12pm from the Rising Sun Building Trades Program. Our graduates, Alexis Johnson, Junuen Ruiz, Salema Finau-Faafiti, Arika Rivera, and Bridget Uzoew, have worked in the classroom and in the field over the past several weeks to successfully complete the construction apprenticeship readiness program, overcoming significant barriers to do so. Each graduate has earned her Multi-Craft Core Curriculum Certificate, First Aid/CPR Certification, and OSHA 10 Certification, which will give them a leg up in entering a union career in the building trades.
