Please join us at one or more of the events scheduled throughout the County.

September 21st: Join Family Violence Law Center on Friday, September 21st at 7pm at the Impact Hub Oakland 2323 Broadway Oakland, CA 94612 for a spectacular evening in support of Family Violence Law Center! In honor of our 40th anniversary, all tickets will be only $40 this year! Together we will dance, eat yummy hors d'oeuvres and celebrate FVLC's work. This year - for our 40th anniversary - our goal is to raise $100,000. To purchase tickets or become a sponsor please go to

September 22nd: Men Creating Peace, counseling and support that is making positive and long lasting change in people’s lives, invites you to their summer fundraising event: Oakland Athletics vs. Minnesota Twins. A $50 ticket includes taco bar tailgate, drinks, music and raffle. To purchase tickets go to

September 22nd: Join SAVE for An Evening of Empowerment Gala Fundraiser at the Paradise Ballroom, 4100 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funds raised will support SAVE’s many free domestic violence victim programs, including their 30-bed emergency shelter, 24-hour hotline, counseling, and walk-in Empowerment Center support services. September 29th: Progressive Transition(s), Inc. invites you to join them as they come together to shine the light and celebrate ten years of serving victims and survivors of sexual exploitation, human trafficking, and domestic violence throughout out the Bay Area. October 5th: Join the Family Violence Council for their yearly conference. This year’s event will discuss Civil v. Criminal: The Intersection of Domestic Violence Restraining Orders and Criminal Protective Orders. October 6th: Join Tri-Valley Haven for their annual Pace For Peace 5K/10K Walk/Run through Livermore's beautiful vineyards. The event begins at 8:00am. The start and finish are at 3663 Pacific Avenue in Livermore. Runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to participate! Dogs are also welcome! Pace For Peace 5K/10K benefits Tri-Valley Haven. Tri-Valley Haven continues to provide life-saving services to adults and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness. Register online at

October 19th: Join the Alameda County Family Justice Center for a Celebration of Collaboration. Domestic violence awareness month is intense. Let’s break bread together and celebrate the work we do. The event is from 11:30am-1:30pm in Bosco’s Café (2nd Floor) of the Alameda County Family Justice Center 470-27th Street in Oakland.

October 20th: Join A Safe Place for their 40th Anniversary Gala taking place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 6-11pm at the Garden Pavilion at the Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate, 2960 Peralta Oaks Court in Oakland. October 25th: Ruby’s Place, an emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking is celebrating its 46th Anniversary this year. To mark the celebration during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month they are hosting an event on October 25, 2018 from 5 - 8 pm at Hayward City Hall. Guests will be treated to a roving buffet by Bay Area Chef Robert O’Donnell, Hayward native and graduate of the International Culinary Academy. October 26th: Alameda County District Attorney’s Office and the Alameda County Family Justice Center invite you to join them in commemorating Domestic Violence Awareness Month with A Day of Remembrance. Event begins with a Children’s Art Exhibit, and the formal program includes speakers and the reading of names ceremony. Location: Alameda County Administration Building Plaza, 1221 Oak Street, Oakland, CA. Resource tables open at 11:30am and the formal program is from 12:15pm-1:15pm. Cost: FREE.
