Tri-Valley Haven invites you to their annual Pace for Peace 5K Walk/Run and 10K Run. Event begins 8am

Men Creating Peace invites you to dine-in or take-out at California Pizza Kitchen in Emeryville, either for
lunch, dinner, or to-go. 20% of all proceeds will be donated to Men Creating Peace to help support all the
wonderful work we do. Men Creating Peace (MCP) is a non-profit men’s education program committed to
helping men age 16 and older restore connections to themselves, their intimate partners, their families and
their communities.

Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women Presents: Through the Looking Glass: Uncovering
Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking. Event features: Documentary Film Presentation, Panel Discussion,

A Safe Place is hosting their 3rd Annual conference on October 24, 2016 and October 25, 2016. It will be held
at the California Endowment, 1111 Broadway, 7th Floor, Oakland, CA 94607. Our focus this year is on "Strategies
to End Family Violence".

Join Ruby’s Place for some bowling at the PLANK in Jack London Square Monday, October 24th, all day – for a

Alameda County District Attorney’s Office and the Alameda County Family Justice Center invite you to join
them in commemorating Domestic Violence Awareness Month with A Day of Remembrance. Event begins with
a Children’s Art Exhibit, and the formal program includes speakers and the reading of names ceremony.

Resource tables open at 11:30am and the formal program is from 12:15pm-1:15pm.
