Core Values

ACFJC Core Values are those ideals that inspire and support those working at and through the ACFJC and are essential to shaping culture, setting strategic direction and influencing how we interact with stakeholders. These values are mutually agreed upon, and bind the ACFJC partners together in our collaborative efforts. We adopt the following as ours:

  • We adhere to the ACFJC Mission and Vision as well as its overall goals and objectives – to be client centered and client-driven, providing the highest quality of services.
  • We value our collaboration and work as partners and intentionally join the ACFJC partnership based on common values and our willingness to transcend differences. We commit to the inclusion of different two womenagencies goals and endorse that no single agency is more important than another.
  • We value and require integrity. We trust, respect, and support each other. We demand the highest possible standards of conduct and ethics. We carry out our work responsibly, openly, and aspire to excellence. We affirm the value of our ACFJC staff and partners and commit to fostering high performance teamwork.
  • We commit to seeking resources to guarantee the ongoing viability of the ACFJC, based on the understanding that the sustainability of the ACFJC is the mutual responsibility of all partners.
  • We strive to maintain a workplace that is nurturing and adapts to the changes in internal and external environments.
  • We strive to maintain a center that models an effective community of care and accessibility for victims of domestic violence and their children, of victims of sexual assault and exploitation, human trafficking, child abuse, stalking, and elder and dependent adult abuse.
  • We influence policy at the local, regional, national and global level.s
  • We promote a learning organization where critical thinking, creativity, and innovation flourish.
  • We reflect on what is working and what we should change. We foster evidence based modifications to improve and refine our work. We share our experiences, successes, and challenges to further our collective learning and the success of the ACFJC. We embrace promising practices and best practices that provide outcomes.
